Project Description
WMS was awarded this project in April 2021 to renovate and waterproof the mechanical room and the ancillary space.
The purpose of this job is the removal and replacement of the HVAC duct, duct insulation, metal framing & sheathing, gutters, drip plates, conduit, concrete slab repair, concrete fill, installation of floor drains, HPR piping, pipe supports, fire detection & monitoring devices, installation of non-skid waterproofing membrane, removal & installation of electrical conduit, wiring and electrical fixtures, removal and installation of (2) electrical unit heaters, and installation of (2) dehumidifiers.
All new metal framing and HPR piping will be cast iron and stainless steel. There are (2) phases of coating required on this project. Phase 1 coating goes in the ancillary space and on the curbs around the mechanical room while phase 2 coating goes in the mechanical room.
