Project Description
The Petersburg Multi-modal Transit Facility was built to replace the existing aging bus stop with a vibrant high-class facility in downtown Petersburg, VA. The facility helped to start a downtown revitalization process that has continued though today. The structure is concrete, structural steel, and face brick with a maximum amount of glass along with beautiful terrazzo floors and metal ceilings and polished handrails. The building was built to house a huge atrium and includes a large clock tower. All of the bus areas have covered walkways and canopies.
