Dulles Hot Water Generator 4&5 Replacement

WM Schlosser will replace two existing hot water generators number four and five with International Lamont forced circulation tangent tube hot water generators producing 25 million BTU/hour at 380 degrees F. WMS successfully performed installation of hot water generators one and two in the same locations in 2015. Project activities involve removal and replacement of a section of exterior wall, selective mechanical and electrical demolition, installation of new circulation pumps, hot water, fuel oil and natural gas piping and mechanical controls. More than half the duration of the project will be used for pre-planning, and engineering/procuring long lead materials, followed by an aggressive installation schedule to allow start up and commissioning of the generators by the end of the 2022 heating season.
