Project Description

W. M. Schlosser Co. was selected by the DC Department of General Services to provide Construction Management At-Risk services for the infrastructure work in connection with the new DC United Soccer Stadium. The project consisted of 2 major phases, the first phase was to install new underground water, storm and sanitary lines around the perimeter of the new stadium and abandonment of utilities within the new stadium footprint. The second phase consisted of complete roadway replacements along with new exposed aggregate sidewalks, Bio-Retention Basins, bike paths, street lighting, traffic signalization and landscaping. The project was completed in the Summer of 2018 in time of the inaugural seasonal opening.
