Project @ the Dulles Airport

The ideal candidate must be able to at a minimum be able to perform the following  in addition to following and adhering to all state and federal regulations and all WMS Safety Rules and Regulations outlined in our full job description which would be made available at time of interview:

Perform safety training, communicate safety issues to project management and contractors
Create and review job hazard analysis for specific construction tasks
Enroll subcontractors in OCIP program

Education and/or Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 5-10 Years’ experience
  • Safety experience in construction
  • Safety Designations are CHST/CSM/ASP/CSP
  • 1 year aviation construction experience preferred


Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Language Skills: English, Spanish is helpful
  • Computer Skills – Microsoft Office Suite
  • Utilizes computer software for correspondence and creation of surveys and documentations inspections, site visits and field safety program
  • Traveling


Certificates and Licenses including but not limited to:

  • OSHA 30 hour trainer
  • Asbestos Supervisor
  • Confined Space Entry Trainer
  • Hazardous Materials Awareness
  • Hazard Communication
  • Intermediate Traffic Control
  • First Aid/CPR Trained
  • Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Instructing, reviewing the work and maintaining safety standards
  • Coordinating and acting on employee problems
